Welcome to Westerville Central High School, home of the “Warhawks!”  We understand that relocation, deployment, and reintegration can be stressful times for families. This stress can exert an impact on student learning.  This page is designed to assist members of the Armed Forces and their families who are part of the Warhawk family. Please make us aware that you are a military family.  

 

WCHS serves students with a wide range of abilities including those with Multiple Handicaps to students taking Advanced Placement (AP) and College Credit Plus (CCP) courses.  For students who are athletically inclined WCHS offers 20 varsity sports, as well as several club sports. Additional extra curricular activities include the Drama Department, Music Department, and several student clubs.

Our Military Kids pays for children ages 5 through 12th grade of deployed National Guard and Reserve personnel to participate in youth sports, fine arts, and tutoring programs.

Ohio Military Kids (OMK) is a partnership between the Ohio National Guard and The Ohio State University’s 4-H youth development program.  The goal oh OMK is to create community support networks for military youth when they experience a loved one’s deployment.
